Aussichtsturm Aschau

Surrounded by wheat fields and meadows, the approximately 8m high viewing tower on the Kreuzberg in the small Burgenland village of Aschau. Once you reach the top, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view at an altitude of around 600 meters. From there, there is a direct line of sight to the lookout tower on the Hutwisch in Hochneukirchen (Lower Austria), the so-called "Guglhupf" in Redlschlag and the lookout tower on the Geschriebenstein in Rechnitz. On a clear day, you can even see as far as the Dolomites and Riegersburg Castle!

The circular route from Aschau leads directly to the viewing tower and back again.
