Restaurant Wechselforelle

In idyllic Trattenbach in Wechselland, guests can expect an experience that goes far beyond a classic breakfast or evening meal: the Wechselforelle, a restaurant combined with a fish farm, invites you to fish, enjoy and be amazed. Two natural ponds are home to salmon trout, rainbow trout and char from our own farm - caught directly on site, expertly prepared and served fresh on the plate. This makes fish an experience, because you can either take the fish home to eat or have it prepared in the family-run restaurant.

A special highlight is the self-fishing offer: equipment can be rented on site for a small fee, including bait and instructions - ideal for families, fishing enthusiasts or the curious who want to get actively involved. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting - on the terrace with a view of the pond or in the cozy dining room, you can enjoy the freshly caught fish in a relaxed atmosphere
