Teufelstein

Both the mountain and the rock formation on its summit are known as the Teufelstein.

The Teufelstein is located above the climatic health resort of Fischbach, slightly off the main alpannonia trail. From the panoramic summit, you can enjoy a panoramic view over the Fischbach Alps, the Veitsch, Pretulalpe and as far as the Hungarian plain to the east.

There are legendary stories about the origin of the towering rock, in which the devil plays an important role.

In fact, it is the remains of a weathered peak.
